Alloy 200 Plates

SMM Industries LLP is proud to present its high-performance Hastelloy C2000 Round Bars, made from the nickel-based superalloy UNS N06200 (Werkstoff 2.4675). This premium round bar product is designed for the most demanding industrial environments where resistance to both oxidizing and reducing acid corrosion is critical. The Hastelloy C2000 Round Bars are produced in compliance with ASTM B574 / ASME SB574, ensuring reliable mechanical properties and chemical composition. Our C2000 alloy contains roughly 23% chromium, 15–17% molybdenum, and about 1.5–2% copper, offering a rare balance that gives it excellent resistance to sulfuric, hydrochloric, nitric, and hydrofluoric acids. What are Hastelloy C2000 Round Bars? Hastelloy C2000, also known under the UNS designation N06200 and the European standard Werkstoff 2.4675, is a nickel–chromium–molybdenum–copper alloy engineered to resist both oxidizing and reducing acids. The high chromium content protects against ferric ions and oxygen, while the molybdenum and copper provide outstanding resistance in chloride-bearing and reducing media. It retains strength across temperature cycling from very low (–50 °C) to high (up to ~550 °C) conditions. Mechanically, our round bars deliver a tensile strength of about 690 MPa, yield strength around 310 MPa, and elongation of roughly 45%, with hardness in the order of 90–100 HRB. Welding and fabrication are well supported, thanks to the low carbon content which avoids sensitization after welding. What Are the Advantages of Hastelloy C2000 Round Bars? Exceptional corrosion resistance: Resistant to a variety of acid environments, including sulfuric, hydrochloric, nitric, and hydrofluoric acids. Excellent pitting and crevice corrosion resistance, thanks to its optimized chromium and molybdenum content. Good stress corrosion cracking resistance, particularly in chloride-laden solutions. Wide thermal stability, maintaining structural integrity under rapid temperature cycling. Good weldability low carbon and proper alloy chemistry ensure that welded joints retain corrosion resistance, with optional solution annealing (around 1149 °C followed by water quench) to optimize. Formability and machinability the alloy is ductile and can be hot or cold worked; cold forming may require intermediate annealing, and typical machining requires slower speeds and coolant. Hastelloy C2000 Round Bars Uses and Applications: Hastelloy C2000 round bars are used in a variety of high-demand applications, thanks to their corrosion resistance and mechanical robustness: Chemical industry: used in reactor shafts, agitators, heat exchanger tubes, and mixing elements, because of its resistance to mixed acid environments and aggressive process chemicals. Oil & gas: used for pump shafts, valve stems, and downhole equipment, where it can withstand sulfuric acid stress and harsh chloride conditions. Power generation: employed in flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems where acid corrosion and high temperature are major challenges. Nuclear industry: used for fuel reprocessing equipment and reactor internals, due to its chemical stability and strength at elevated temperatures. Marine applications: useful in desalination and seawater equipment, thanks to its excellent resistance to crevice corrosion in chloride-rich waters. Pulp & paper: used in acid recovery boilers and chemical recovery systems, where strong reductive acids and oxidizing agents are involved. The ASTM / ASME grade for our Hastelloy C2000 Round Bars is UNS N06200, under ASTM B574 / ASME SB574. Equivalent grades and names in other standards include Werkstoff (Germany): 2.4675, DIN / EN: NiCr23Mo16Cu, JIS: NW 6022, UNS: N06200 For more details : https://www.smmindustriesllp.com/hastelloy-c2000-round-bars-manufacturer-exporter-supplier-stockist.html  +91-2266595276 / +91-2266394373  [email protected]
